What to expect

Generally, we pick the meals to include in your pack for you! Think of it like a private chef taking away some of the mental load and doing the thinking for you.

We cook in small batch sizes so our stock is constantly changing. For each pack, we hand-pick the meals to be included based on:

• the meals in stock
• where/whether one is postpartum and the principles that apply (more about the principles of each week here)
• any dietary requirements listed
• and taking into account what has been given in previous orders (with a preference for including new things)

Mixed Packs include a range of meals from across the menus. Here is an example of what you might receive.

You can list all dietary requirements/aversions/allergies at checkout. We will always honour those ♥️

All of our meals and snacks are dairy* and gluten free. We don’t use added preservatives or stabilisers and never use seed oils or refined sugar.

We pre-soak legumes and pulses for easy digestion, and slow cook meats and vegetables to break down fibres in order to allow for maximum nutrient absorption.

Full Circle Food adheres to traditional postpartum wisdom which recommends eating warm foods to stimulate circulation in order to aid healing.

*We do use small amounts of ghee in some of our recipes. If you’d like ghee-free meals (important for parents of babies with CMPA), we can easily accommodate this. You can let us know in the checkout process. 

Cape Town (R120 flat fee):

• Cape Town and surrounding suburbs; up to Yzerfontein; and through to Worcester and Hermanus.
• We can do next day deliveries on almost all Cape Town central & suburbs orders. Max 2 day wait for outlying areas.

If you place a multi-week order with staggered deliveries, the first delivery is R120 and the subsequent deliveries are on us!

Garden Route (R150 flat fee):

• We ship to the Garden Route weekly on a Tuesday; orders are delivered on Wednesday (latest Thursday).
• Place your order by Monday afternoon each week to be included!
• R1000 minimum order

If you place a multi-week order with staggered deliveries, the first three deliveries are R150 each, and any subsequent deliveries in your order are free!

Gauteng (R150 flat fee):

• We ship to Gauteng weekly on a Friday; orders are delivered to you on Monday (or Tuesday latest).
• Place your order by Thursday afternoon each week to be included!
• R1000 minimum order

If you place a multi-week order with staggered deliveries, the first three deliveries are R150 each, and any subsequent deliveries in your order are free!

Gqeberha (R150 flat fee):

• We ship to Gqeberha twice weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays; orders are delivered within 3 days.
• Place your order by Sunday afternoon, or Tuesday afternoon each week to be included.
• R1000 minimum order

❄️ We maintain a strict cold chain on all deliveries. Our couriers have frozen temperature controlled delivery vehicles and orders travel on frozen freight for long trips. If storage is ever necessary, it is done so in a freezer warehouse.

Absolutely! All are welcome at Full Circle Food. The meals are delicious, full of nutrients, and great for any body.

We recommend the Mixed Pack or the smaller Starter Pack if you’re not postpartum.

The Mixed Packs normally include two portions of five different mains & corresponding sides, so a couple is able to eat the same meal for five nights. If you’d prefer one portion of ten different meals, please include that in your order notes.

We can easily cater for vegetarian, pescatarian and vegan diets.  We can also cater for other exclusions (CMPA, no coriander, no chilli, etc.) – you can note this during checkout and we’ll take care of the rest!

While we always aim to give new and different meals in your weekly packs, dietary restrictions mean that you may receive a few repeat meals over the course of many weekly meal packs.

While we are not Halaal certified (yet!) we operate a Halaal friendly kitchen; we do not use pork and source all our meat from Halaal certified providers. Please get in touch if you’d like to know more ☺️

Your health and happiness is our utmost priority.  Please include a note about any allergies at checkout or message us ahead of time so we can speak with you directly. We would love to accommodate you, and will only proceed if we can do so with 100% safety and confidence.

*All our meals are made in a kitchen that uses eggs, soy, tree nuts, peanuts and fish.
